WinFlash Scholar and Educator are installed with the excellent Addictive Software American English dictionary.  In the case of Educator, the Roget's Thesaurus is also installed.  If you would like to add additional dictionaries to your system, you can download them free of charge from Addictive Software's website.  Connect to the Internet and then click on the Download Additional Dictionaries... item in the Educator or Scholar menu.  If for some reason this fails to reach the website, enter the URL http://www.addictivesoftware.com directly.

 

Once you have downloaded the dictionaries you wish to add, unzip them into the directory below depending on your operating system:

 

Windows XP - C:\Documents & Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\Shared WinFlash Files\Dictionaries

 

Windows Vista/7 - C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Shared WinFlash Files\Dictionaries

 

Next time you select the Configure Spell Checker... menu item from the Scholar or Educator menu the new dictionaries will be available for inclusion.
